Short Bio
My name is Diogo Glória-Silva and I am a third-year Ph.D. student at the Nova School of Science and Technology, Portugal. My Ph.D. is supported by a CMU Portugal Scholarship under the Affiliated Ph.D. Program.
My current research focuses on language generation in plan-following conversational systems, with a particular interest in incorporating multimodality towards making these systems more natural and more capable of addressing the user's needs. I completed a Master's degree in Computer Science in 2021 at NOVA School of Science and Technology, where my master's thesis focused on exploring the generation of polite responses on a task-oriented system without compromising the system's performance.
